Doom it all!
Sep. 4th, 2002 02:41 pmNever thought I'd ever say this, but I want out of Neiffer's class. I'm not afraid of the class. Nor the challenges presented within. It's the idiots in there. I could just . . . beat them all with sticks. Most of them at least. At the moment I'm feeling really mean and uncharitable, so I'll stick (haha) with all of them.
See, we're doing this whole semester project thing where we go out into various communities and find out about cultural diversity and such. We do interviews and take pictures and do research. This is fine. This I can do. Easy peasy. But we have to do it in groups. And from the way things are going no one appears to a)want me or b)remember I'm there. So, I'm going to get stuck in some group with people that are not willing to work as hard as I am and who are only excited to do it because "the Russians in Moses are HOT" (Jenna's statement, not mine. If you ever hear me call someone "hot", please shoot me.) or because they get to miss some school for it.
I would so much rather work on it myself. And I know it's meant to get us working in groups and out in the community, but I'm mature enough to be able to do this on my own. On my own I look forward to it. In a group I'm dreading it. Bloody 'ell.
Calm blue ocean . . . Calm blue ocean . . .
Anywho, so now here I am, surrounding myself with LotR and Harry Potter and drinking a mocha frappachino thing and listening to Loreena McKennitt. Trivial things, but they make me happy.
And, doom it, right now that's all that really matters to me.
