Just found out that I sat up here in the kitchen for who knows how long last night with a dead, decomposing mouse not four feet away. Can you say "ew"? See I knew you could. That's just . . . slightly disturbing. Oh, maybe that's what that smell was . . .

Went to church today with Grandma. Sat with Neesha as usual. Had the giggles quite a bit. Am I going to Hell because I can't get through the Our Father without laughing because I have to hold Neesh's hand?? Nah . . . Can't be that bad. But if I do at least I'll have friends.

We're going to go see Signs today. Unless there is an evil alien plot to keep me from the truth. *cue X-Files music* "The tooth . . . is out . . . there. Somewhere. Really." Hope there are good previews. Oh, and next week I get to see Possession! Woo.

In other news, I finally have a story scenario I feel comfortable actually working on outside of my head. Go me! I think I'm being overly influenced by Loreena McKennitt though. I think she's great.

Well, finally got to see Signs! V. v. good movie. The thing I love about M. Night is that he can seriously creep you out during a film, but afterwards your more contemplative than creeped out.

He is a genius. Kinda like Joss.

Things I am eternally grateful for after seeing Signs . . .

-That our cornfield is not right outside my window this year.
-That we do not have a basement. Or a coal shoot for that matter.
-That we own so much aluminum foil.
-And a telescope.
-That neither I, nor Tom, have asthma.
-That I still have super-duper sleeping pills from tonsil removal. (Go knock-out drugs!)
-That I drink so much water.

And I could prolly think of more. Also, it appears that a "Tom Watkins" contributed in some way to the movie. Strangeness.
