I don't wanna go to English. Boooooring. Gonna end up sitting in the back doing the reading instead of paying attention. Maybe I'll take my little notebook and write something.
Logan/Veronica vs. Veronica/Duncan. Having only gotten into the show, I haven't hid the fact that I'm pretty much smitten with Logan. Yes, I know he's a jackass. But he's snarky and intelligent and the actor can act. Duncan, despite for all appearances being a decent/good guy, is, well, boring. Blah with a capital 'B.' (Plus, the good guy thing? Well, he may not actively go out and do things, and he may stand up for a few of the less fortunate at Neptune High, but he's got a tendency to just let things happen around him. Whereas Veronica tries to stop these things.) The blahness I'm going to blame on the actor. Although I do think it's the character as well. He's just...completely uninteresting when compared to Veronica, Keith, Wallace, Logan, Lilly, etc.
And then there's the whole Veronica/Duncan being denoted by V/D which makes me giggle and I just can't take that seriously. Not that Logan/Veronica, with LoVe, is much better. It makes me laugh, but at least there aren't STDs involved. (There could be, but we're not going to go there.)
I have no idea where they're going to go relationship-wise on the show. No clue. But I am a little concerned about Veronica and Duncan getting back together. It seems like a step backward for Veronica. She changed after Lilly's death, she's not the same person that dated Duncan and wore yellow cotton dresses. So seeing her revert to Duncan makes me kind of worry about what they might do to her character.
On the other hand, maybe it's all to do with Duncan being an old, familiar relationship. She knows, or thinks she knows, where she stands with him and how he feels about her and vice versa. Because Duncan's pretty blah and won't hurt her like, I suspect, Logan would be able to.
I didn't see the first three episodes of this season, but I did see last night's ep. And he was still blah and she was kind of blah with him. Hopefully they'll do something about that.
Okay, so I guess the thoughts weren't that quick. :)
