Had a great time in Seattle. At the moment I'm not sure how I feel about being home. For now, it's a good thing.
My goal for next school year is to force SGA (and SG-1 possibly) on Natasha until she caves and starts reading fanfiction. Mostly because I need someone at school who shares the love (besides Felicia, who can be a little scary) and because I think she would enjoy the fact that it doesn't suck (like Jeff) like Smallville. So, Natasha, consider yourself warned. ;) I totally know who I'm printing pictures of to tape on our door next year.
While eating lemon meringue pie at Nana Fran's today, I had the completely random, out-of-nowhere thought, "Rodney can't ever have lemon meringue." This made me kind of sad. And then made me feel kind of pathetic since he's fictional. Then I had to wonder if there was any way Rodney could taste citrus without triggering his allergies. Most ideas involved Sheppard. And they lead to, um, other places. And I was at my *nana's* and that's just *wrong*.
Last night Mom and I saw The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy at the Crest. For some reason, the first time I saw it I didn't realize that Sam Rockwell's Zaphod is basically making fun of Bush. It's so obvious, how did I miss it? Anyway, the audience was packed this time. And they were very receptive, which made the whole thing even better. Had to ask Mom afterward if all the aliens weren't just a little bit gay. Then we went back to Kay's and watched Bride and Prejudice, which was cute and had the extra fun bonus of Naveen Andrews singing and dancing.
Finished reading Haunted. Um. Whoa.
Finally got to see "The Brotherhood." About frelling time. I've been waiting for that forever. Loved Rodney's fixation on John's intelligence.
Anyhoo.
