Um. Is it still going to be SG-1 without Jack O'Neill??

Seriously. I've been reading over at Gateworld.net and though I am thrilled at the addition of Ben Browder as a regular, I'm a little upset about Richard Dean Anderson only guest starring once in awhile. I mean, he's allowed to move on - he's been doing the show for eight years! But I am kind of sad.

And, what does this mean for any Jack/Sam 'shippers?

I totally know what you mean. I was really sad when i found out that RDA wouldn't be back. I don't know what will happen with Jack/Sam. I really hope that there's some resolution or ongoing relationship. And not just when they go back in time, sheesh. I'm excited to see what they'll do with the story. Definitely won't be the same without RDA. Alas, my fangirl love will live on.

Hey Mary - what Spanish book do you use for class? I thought it was the same book we were using last year, which is called Asi Es but I saw some kids in my english class this morning with a "puntos" book or something....

Well, he'll probably be back a few times. Right? That seems to be the general thought regarding him leaving. That we'll still see him once or twice...Was watching the premier episode of SGA today and Jack's there during the very beginning being funny and serious all at the same time and darn it I'm going to miss him.

Plus, I want me some resolution between Sam and Jack. On-screen resolution.

Although it now occurs to me that maybe I'd be alright with some Sam/Whoever-Ben-Is-Playing-So-Long-As-He's-Not-Mean-Or-Something flirty interaction....Heh. BEN! Ahem. I found a Farscape/SGA crossover today...

Crossovers are happy. I can't wait to see Ben on screen again. Again a Happy Panda. I'd be ok with a Sam/Ben thing maybe....depends. We'll have to see how he turns out. I know that even if I don't like the character...I'll still be happy because it'll be Ben.

Must return to paying attention to class....

I'm just happy Ben is going to be on the show. Happy happy happy. Yea Ben! Also Claudia. But yea Ben! When Mom and I came over to Seattle, I had the realization that this means that Ben is IN VANCOUVER. That's, like, not that far away in the grand scheme of things.

OMG, just realized, who are they going to slash Daniel with if Jack is gone?!? Oh no! He will be slashless. The poor woobie. :(

About an hour ago I started reading a piece of SG-1 fanfiction. It's a series. It's slash. So far it's Jack and Daniel going, "Um. So. This is crazy. Why do I have feelings for you?", they are confuzzled, have a biweekly steak dinner, and kiss/not-kiss. It's neat and very them and believable 'cause they're not all "OMG I LUV U!!!111!!!" ::have sex::

'Cause that would be annoying and completely unbelievable.

Funnily enough, I didn't mean to start reading SG-1 fanfic because there's a lot of crap out there. But now I've started this. I'm afraid to go looking for anything really though. But I want me some Sam/Jack to go along with the slash. Any recs??

OMG, they can slash Daniel with Ben! (Ben's not even on the show yet and I've already made him a whore. Poor Ben.) (When I get back from work I'm gonna find me a good Crichton icon...Tried yesterday, only succeeded in general Farscape.)

Will they really be able to slash Michael and Ben? I've heard of couples starting to look like each other as the relationship progresses, but before it even starts? Odd.

I'll read the interview...def. And off the top of my head I can't think of any really super squeeable jack/sam fics that are in character. It's harder than you'd think. Grrrr....

And then there's this interview (http://gateworld.net/articles/interviews/flanigan01.shtml) with him and omg reading both how can you not just love him? ::boggles:: I especially like the bit about his kids. Also, he used "dissuade." <3

Don't worry too much about the Sam/Jack stuff. At the moment I am happily absorbed in serious of Jack/Daniel stuff. It's gooooood.
