Happy First of December
Dec. 1st, 2006 11:18 pmTonight Natasha and I saw The Nutcracker at McCaw Hall. We left early to get dinner and then we wandered around the Seattle Center and drank coffee (me) and cocoa (Natasha). It was the perfect type of weather for that sort of thing, not quite cold enough to freeze anything. Now, if we had done this a couple of days ago, there's no way we would have spent anytime wandering outside. Weather here is bizarre.
The Nutcracker itself was amazing, as I was pretty confident it would be. Beautiful sets, beautiful costumes, beautiful dancing. And the music. I'd happily just listen to the music. Wonderful time all around.
Now I think we're going to get tickets for Swan Lake in early February. Something new to look forward to.
While we were wandering around between dinner and the ballet, I took some pictures. They all turned out a little fuzzy. (My camera doesn't handle pictures without flash very well. It always tells me that it's being moved around and then pictures turn out blurry, even in daylight.) We'll call the fuzz artistic.
