I Can (Sort Of) See Clearly Now
Aug. 15th, 2006 12:44 amHad an appointment with my contact specialist today. I don't know if my eye doctor changed the prescription on both of my eyes, but the specialist regularly tweaks whatever the doctor has given me, and this time she only gave me a new prescription for my right eye and none for my left. Now I'd say I see about the same out of both of them. It's interesting though because this time I can actually feel the contact in my right eye. Because my astigmatism has gotten worse, they're trying to address that in the contacts and so the lens is actually thicker than it used to be. I should be used to it by tomorrow. If I don't, though, I have the option of trying lenses that will work on the distance vision instead.
Either way, my eyesight continues slowly downhill.
The specialist, though, reminds me of Dr. Berry.
The demolition derby is Wednesday and the rodeo is Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The question is, should I go? I'm kind of leaning toward not. It'll be hot-ish and bleachers are always uncomfortable and large crowds make me nervous. Also, the beginning of the rodeo is always too long and boring. Hmm.
