Banging Hair. And Music.

I finally got my hair cut today! It had been almost a year and, man, was I ready for a change. Also, I don't know how people with long hair can stand it on the back of their neck in the heat. It makes me feel warm and icky. But now my hair is chin length and the ends are kind of tapered and I really like it. Yea.

It's officially summer now, why am I freezing? And why were there sirens earlier? I got used to them at school because the hospital is across the street and there's a police station a couple of blocks away, but out here it's just the weirdest thing to hear.

I've been writing lots lately. Tiny bit of original stuff. Mostly fanfiction though, and mostly mushy. But it's fun to write and it keeps me from going crazy. I've almost filled up another little notebook with scribbles.

I may never catch up on the fanfiction reading that I set aside during the last couple weeks of the quarter. Meh. Oh, trademybike, I will get through the rest of "Sharks with Guns." You'll get an e-mail one of these days.

Foolproof was on TV and I watched enough to see the top half of DH's head. Speaking of him, I also caught the first ten minutes of Darklight. The same part I'd seen before. Y'know, the first thirty seconds aren't bad, but then it kind of goes downhill and I have trouble not giggling at it. So I watched until DH removed his shirt and then I couldn't take it even remotely seriously anymore. I just couldn't watch. Sci-Fi, why do you drag me in with good actors in crappy movies only to push me away when it gets silly, and not in a purposeful way?
