Aug. 24th, 2005 04:53 pmWell, the hard drive on my laptop is dead. They're going to spend about an hour seeing if they can recover anything from it, but there's not a whole lot of hope. They think that it over-heated. If that's the case, the guy recommends getting a new computer. Which I've been thinking about more and more, but, damn it, I wanted to save stuff first.
This is good in some ways because now the entire thing is cleared off and I won't have to go through all of it. But there were some fanvids and clips (like Century Hotel) that I really wanted to keep around. Curses. Guess I'll have to go begging around now.
And, damn it, there was writing on there. Most of it was backed up, but some of it was just note stuff and random lines. Shit.
Why couldn't this have waited to happen until, like, tomorrow? ::shakes fist::

Going to Amanda's bridal shower tonight. (And now I totally just don't feel like going anywhere.) Neesha may come over afterward and watch Thought Crimes. Which would be nice because I need something to take my mind off of stupid computer crap.
