SPN Drabble: epiphany, Dean/Castiel

I won't be posting about the finale for a few days. I need to process. (And would generally rather not talk about it until then, thanks.)

Instead, have a Dean/Castiel drabble I wrote a few days ago. No spoilers. G.


epiphany

Eyes fluttering shut, Cas moans around the spoon Dean holds out to him. His lips are closed around the shaft, a breath away from Dean’s fingers, so close, and Dean wants to slip, wants to reach out and touch them, trace them. Kiss him.

Funny, he’s sure he’s felt this way before—it doesn’t feel new exactly—but he’s never—it’s never—

There’s a first time for everything, and this is the first time he’s looked across a table at Cas and thought yes, that, I want that.

Cas’ eyes blink open, wide and the bluest blue.

Dean’s fingers slip.
