Royal Pains & White Collar

Watched my first episode of Royal Pains tonight after some pimping by rivier. I really enjoyed it, and am looking forward to having something new to watch.

USA followed it up with an episode of White Collar ("Home Invasion"), which I've been meaning to check out for a while. How did I like it?

I think I'm a little bit smitten.

I think I'm more than a little bit smitten with Peter. Um. HE HAD ME AT SHOULDER HOLSTER. ♥

I mean, Matt Bomer is obviously very pretty, but there's just...something about Tim DeKay.

Also, Peter and Neal with the bantering and the bickering and the adorableness. Oh dear.

Yeah, you know that feeling you get when you discover something you know you'll love? Where you realize partway through something that you are really enjoying yourself? That's where I'm at tonight.

I really liked Neal, I really did. And he was fantastic being all annoyed at Peter for invading his space and being sweaty on his nice couch, but OMG PETER. I don't even know what it is. One episode and I'm all A-FLAIL.

I may be wrong about this, since I've only seen this episode (NEED MORE), but I love the way Peter and Neal both rub each other the wrong way. Which doesn't seem to be out of malice, but because it amuses them to rile the other up. Neal multi-tasking in the victim's home, Peter multi-tasking with the sweat and the beer and the game.

I am a little bummed Elizabeth wasn't in this episode, though.

That's actually one of my least favorite episodes, because they kind of back-tracked with their relationship there. So just wait. *g*

And yeah, Elizabeth was missing in several episodes of the second half. I'm not sure if it was because of contracts or because Tiffani was mega-pregnant.

Matt is a wonder, and Neal is pretty and charming, but Peter is smoking hot, and Tim? OMG he's amazing. I sort of stalked him through some old roles, and when you have some time to get absorbed, 'Carnivale' is one of the most brilliant things ever shown on television, and Tim's character is multifaceted and human and (I'm just THAT shallow - shut up) does some sex scenes that are so hot and sweet and.....yeah, well, the series is very serious and complex and worth watching for so many reasons, but it doesn't hurt that you get to see ... what you get to see...

And I'll shut up now too. But yes, White Collar is really really fun, and when you decide to go a little meta, Tim and Matt did a live hour-long web chat (http://www.ustream.tv/whitecollar) which is totally adorable, and they clearly enjoy each other so much it makes the characters' chemistry pale in comparison!

I've seen Tim in other things, just randomly. But, oh, I am definitely going to have to go back and watch his older things now. And, hey, I get to catch up on White Collar, too. :)

I keep meaning to check Carnivale out. This just gives me more reason to make sure it's on my Netflix queue. And, haha, just checking now I see that it already is!

Tim is fantastic in Carnivale, and guh, those sex scenes, yes. Purrrrrrrrrr.

Carnivale is already in my Netflix queue! And I just moved it up.


Also, also...I have been watching the web cast thing they did and omg. Oh my god. I do not need to be ridiculous over more people, but they're just... ::flail::

There is something about Tim's profile that is killing me.
