Blah

I've spent the evening busily trying to pack. Trying being the key word. ACK. I feel like I have an abnormal amount of stuff that I'm taking with me to college, but it really all does seem to be necessities. Maybe I'm just imagining the largeness of it all. I really hope I'm just imagining it.

And how do I feel about packing up all of my stuff to move? Fine. *freaks out slightly* No, really. I'm completely fine. *freaks out some more* Heh.

Right.

Besides reading Terry Pratchett I am now reading Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Philosophy. It's a very interesting collection of essays about BtVS and how various philosophical ideas are reflected in it and such. The book is part of a pop culture and philosophy series. A far amount of it is leaving me fairly blank faced. Or rather, blank faced to begin with accompanied by a rather dull light bulb of understanding when I re-read a particular paragraph. Which isn't to say I'm not understanding what I'm reading. I am. It's just that some of the writers like to throw about "well known" philosophical stuff and expect the general populace to understand what it means. But it's all good and I'm finding the book very interesting.

The family and I continue to view season 2 of Angel. When it first aired I only saw one or two episodes. I didn't start religiously watching the show until the end of season 2 when they all go to Pylea. There really is some great stuff in it. I really miss the camaraderie between Wesley and Gunn. They really were buddy-buddy back then. The trio of Cordelia, Wesley, and Gunn was just so great. And when Angel was there that was good too. But he made bad choices and fired them and he's all bad moody sometimes.
