Apparently Math and Religion Don't Mix
I love my family. A lot. Went to my aunt's over the weekend to remove myself from the temptation of the internet so I could work on my various finals. Friday night Kay fell asleep watching TV and Tris (who is ten) and I were left sitting on the couch watching SG-1. At some point, Tris started going on about how he didn't like math and as soon as he could, like this summer, he was going to forget it all. I suggested that that would be a bad idea, but he insisted, saying, "It's against my religion."
"Oh, yeah? What religion?"
Hardly missing a beat, Tris said, "Tristianity."
It kind of killed me. Tris amuses me so much. He can be so bizarrely clever sometimes. The rest of the time he's just really weird. Not in a bad way, just in a "I really have no idea what you're doing or why you're doing it" kind of way. But we always get along.
