I love that scene - one of my all time favourite scenes. There's a lovely mirroring/remembrance of that scene in the episode 'The Choice' which gets me in the gut every time.

I've always considered them the OTP above all OTPs too, which is why I've never written any Farscape fic - because, as you say, I look at the progression of John, Aeryn, and John/Aeryn and there really isn't anything I would change.

So due a marathon watching of this show.
