Happy Halloween!

End of October already. Can you believe it? How time flies, not only when you're having fun, but also when you're professors decide you don't need a life.

Bah, humbug.

Whoops. Wrong holiday.

For Halloween I am a...
a) poor college student
b) librarian
c) Goa'uld
d) all of the above.

(d) because I don't have to *do* anything to be a Goa'uld, just be my usual mean self. Sneaky. ;) So, yeah. No costumes for me this year. I will be working at the library! Woo! Spooky times. Well, there is that one corner on the fourth floor that's over with the BXs (religion/theology) that's kinda spooky. And, omg, I hope I don't have to go up to the fifth floor. That place is scary no matter what night it is. Seriously creepy. You get up there and the safety lights are on, which is nice but makes lots of dark spaces, and the main light switch is in the center of the room. So you have to weave your way around the perimeter to get to it. Past dark aisles of shelves with the sound of the elevator clanging away beneath you...And, yeah, over-active imagination over here. All of the ways to get up there are pretty heavily locked, but there was the one time I took the stairwell and that door hadn't been shut properly and all I could think was "omg, some psycho got in here and is gonna sneak up on me."

Good times.

Dog-sat Kirby Saturday night and watched The Interpreter. I liked it. Not sure I understood all of it, but I liked it. My problem is that as soon as a movie has anything political going on in it, I can't keep it straight. I don't know if I just space when stuff gets mentioned, or what.

Today I have Astronomy Lab at 1:30. We get to use the spectroscope.

For those of you who don't have to be responsible, contributing adults tonight -- Have a Happy Halloween!!
