La La La . . .
I had something I wanted to say and now I can't remember what it was. Blast.
So instead I'll ramble. On Thanksgiving FX! did their Buffy marathon and do you know what?! They had on two of the episodes from last season! The season that I never got to see!! *dies* "Tabula Rasa" and "Smashed". I was in Buffy heaven. I have missed seeing new stuff from that show. I really really have. Monday they start showing that whole season. *dies again* Oh yeah. I'm happy. *bounces* I don't care if really bad stuff happens (dead Tara, rape, gratuitous sex and violence), I want to see it!
That last sentence really makes me sound like a freak, doesn't it?
I finished reading The Thief Lord yesterday. It was cute and enjoyable, if a bit predictable. But I liked it anyway. Tried to hold off starting anything new as was SUPPOSED to go to Barnes & Noble today and I was HOPING I could get something else by Neil Gaiman. But no, didn't go. So this morning I started Mostly Harmless because Douglas Adams is a genius too.
Which sort of brings me to what I think I wanted to say when I logged on to say something. It has been foggy here today and yesterday. And I mean completely foggy. I can't see our front field! So today I asked Mum and Dad, "You know the movie The Others? . . . You remember the fog in that? . . . You don't think we've died and we just don't know it?"
Of course we haven't died. But it's quite a thought, isn't it?
Oh, and last night I watched Photographing Faeries with Mum. It was very good. But it kept freakin' me out. Parts of it were just . . . disturbing. The whole idea that faeries exist as messengers between this world and the next and our perception is just so limited that we can't see them . . . For me it all leads back to that idea of things being their, but being unseen.
Everyone go watch it.
